    INTERCOOLER HELP...

    I'm using a 31x12x4" CXR intercooler and controls iats just as well as any IC out there. But I do feel they are restrictive. Before that I ran a 31x12x3" ic off ebay. It was cheapest one I could find at that size, and looked identical to the CRX. It performed great too, but also restrictive I feel.

    The pro products fuel rails are complete garbage. Almost every fitting leaked. I had them welded and that helped. Then the brackets didn't hold the rails well and they would flex. This caused the o rings to wear out. Then the bung where the frps mounted started leaking. I kept calling them...

    I did that with stock heads pi heads, V1 S-trim, HP S292 cams, cheap ebay intercooler, 16*, 13 psi, 515/453 lol. J/k it's only dyno numbers lol. I added ported heads and 16.5 psi and made 598 at one shop and 572 at another.

    I went from 431 to 516 from blower cams dropped in with stock heads/valve springs etc, and intake, but I was already running 13 psi. When you up the boost it will wake up.

    He's only running 8psi he needed more boost before heads. The shortblock dosen't make power it supports the power it actually weighs more and makes less with the same psi. When he turns up the boost the heads and cams will pay off.

    I made 512 with a v1 strim stock heads and intake and a 6 rib 2.8" rr pulley and stock crank dampner. Then I went to a patriot stage 2 heads and a 8 rib with a 18% overdrive pulley 3" pulley and made 598.
