    I finished putting my engine all the way back together finally, but when I rev the engine up high, white smoke is still coming out of the tailpipes, ive but on a different set of heads and intake... Could it be too much fuel (Im still running Speed density w/o O2 sensors)?

    I used the test light method and the light stayed on till I pulled 1 fuse... Problem is NOW, that I misplaced my fuse cover plate and I dont know what that fuse is for. Anyone have a fuse diagram or know what the #8 fuse is for?

    alternator whine

    my alt. use to whine, and It got louder over time (a couple of days). It was louder than my exhaust! So instead of driving it and risk getting stranded, I replaced it!!

    I finally put my engine back together and now there is a ticking noise (louder than my exhaust) coming from the intake. And the engine has no power and it backfires through the intake when I hit the gas. The ticking almost sounds like a ping... like in a coffee can. Ive played with my timing...

    how would the starter drain the battery? The battery is drained befoee I even turn the key (dome lights are dimm). The test light is a good idea.... im gonna try that.

    OK guys, I changed the HGs (havent put the car completely back together yet though. I took off the old gaskets and didnt see any points where it could be leaking or blown. Could it be so small I cant see it, or is this normal for a leaking HG? Oh yea, Im not putting the original heads back...

    Beides of an alarm whaat can make my battery drain? I dont believe non of the inside lights are on. My car has been doing this every since January after I let it sit of 3 or 4 months. I bought a new battery but If I dont drive the car for 3 or 4 dats the battery will drain.

    I tried running an compression test but the thing wouldnt work.... I havent been driving it since it started smoking and I dont plan on doing it till its fixed. IM gonna just take the heads off and replace the gaskets and the heads. I have st of E7s siting in my garage anywas.

    how do u drop a oil pan on a fox

    You have to unbolt the motor mounts and lift the motor as far as possible. Your NOT gonna be able to get the oil pan out, your gonna have to fish the oil pump out and the new one back in.... I did it this way in my car (w/ my longtubes still attatched) and it took me like 4 or 5 hours...
