    The extended warranty applies to much more than just what you can injure with your mods (and more than is covered by the factory warranty). If my power seats break, what does a CAI have to do with it? Mods do not always mean that you can't take your car in, it really depends on the dealership...

    I have the Pony Package... Do you think that helps or hurts? :D Seriously, on the resale issue, I think you are correct that a stock GT will hold its value better. However, since we all mod our cars, doesn't it make the point moot? Who the hell is goping to buy our cars?!?!? :shrug:

    Right now a GT would whip me, and I know that. My statement was written in a future tense and not a present one. When I put the $5K (price difference) worth of mods on, which will occur sometime in the future, what I stated will be true. If I just drop another $1,000 on a full nitrous install...

    Without dealer mark-up, the difference is only abot 5K. Thought long and hard about whether or not to get the GT or V6. Lost sleep over it. Lots of good points from everyone here, and no real V6 bashing. I love my V6, and would have loved the GT also. I am sinking money into my V6...
