Go get the DTC read at an autozone, they do it for free. You should then be able to figure out if it's just the downstream O2s or something else. Just get it off quick... limp mode is no fun on gas mileage!
Good point... I'll probably just go with the regular NX or NOS system and get cheater solenoids then...
I think you've just about run me dry of questions Kev :) Thanks again for all your help!

Mainly need to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, TOB, and pilot bearing... also while you're in there you might as well replace the clutch arm and pivot ball if they look kinda bad, and since you're gonna have to at least resurface the flywheel, if you have the extra cash get a new...
Awesome! Now I just need to find a decent kit for a 125 shot... I've found a good deal on a kit with some nice cheater solenoids (they look like silver boxes) but it comes with the plate... and I really want the single fogger like yours. Are the lines interchangeable between the fogger and the...
Awesome, just the info I need :)
Is the plate delivery any more accurate than a single fogger system? I might want to run the single fogger being I can hide it under my intake instead of those cables protruding from the TB... but not if it sacrifices stability/safety...
Thanks Kev!
Heya Kev,
I kind of figured you'd be stepping in the convo at some point :P
I'm using an FRPP clutch with a fidanza 13 lb flywheel. I was thinking somewhere along the line of 100-125, and yes hiding everything is a must, as I'm trying to keep it under wraps :) After reading a whole lot of junk...
All right, so I've decided to go the cheap way for all that extra horsepower. Basically my car has a good amount of miles on it, has no resale value, and right now I just want to run it with a crapload of power until the motor detonates or I get some real cash, in either case prompting me to get...
You most definitely need to change the pinion out with the ring gear. That's probably your problem with being unable to turn the ring; the gears aren't matching and don't want to turn. Of course taking out the pinion is a whole different story, and you're definitely going to have fun with that...
Okay, after thorough research, with lots of computers whizzing and such... I've narrowed it down to either getting a Roush kit, or trying to repair my stock rear fascia (it's not that bad) and going either stock with the chin spoiler or cobra for front.
Or at least that's what I had decided...
Mine does the same thing... up until OT it'll lob and act like it's running really rich. It's only when it's really friggin cold and the colder it is, the worse it acts.
Compared to most of the kits out there, that stalker kit was a very welcome relief... but I just couldn't decide if I liked it or not each time I went back and looked at it.
Anywho thanks for the info... I always liked that cobra front bumper.

And sometimes I just like to listen to her purr.
Meh, I'm not cloning (though I am about halfway to victory on my KB 2.1 fund :P ) so I don't want to advertise it as a Cobra... however I haven't yet looked at the Roush kit
My mustang, over the years, has come in contact with some unfortunate bumps and bruises and it's about that time to replace the hood and bumpers, with a complete repaint. I was looking at a few different options to make her stand out, but unfortunately most body kits out there for mustangs are...

Go FRPP if you're doing it yourself... then you can use your old shims and not have to worry about backlash or pinion depth. I had motive gears and spent a LOOOOOONG time trying to get the pinion depth right because they aren't cut exactly the same as the FRPP/OE
