    Rim hitting something while turning!

    I have a 99 cobra its lowered about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 and has 17x9front 17x10 rear Sean hyland rims. Problem: When I turn the wheel either way fully I begin to hear clunking grinding noise. It seems like its rubbing on more then the wheel well. Any suggestion on what i should do to fix this?

    octane requirements?

    I think all the cobras have premium for their recommended octane but it wont hurt the engine to use lesser octane. I dont think your engine will run to its full ability with lesser octane's.

    well go figure at lunch I lift the cup tray in the center console and what do I see but 2 new wires one red and one black. I guess all i have to do now is find a nice place to ground the black wire.

    I noticed that the price jump from 98 to 99 is significant. I guess its cause its a whole new cobra when you compare it to the 98.

    Yes the first owner was a women from KC how did you know ? She is the one that did all the mods. The recent history seems very good no abuse just normal 2 and from work about a mile or so .. I guess I should be happy when i see it in person.. :nice:

    99 cobra for $14k??

    I think its a good deal im paying 14.5k for a 99 cobra with 49k but it comes with a bunch of mods and upgrades... You have less milage and lower price to I think its a pretty good deal.
