    take a clean gas can with about 2 gallons of gas. and just have your pump pull from that. if it will do it at idle and at least under a load. See if it is better or same. If the same well its not from the tank up to the pump. Could be pump, could be filter in the carb, could be the carb. or...

    type f is very picky. this has a friction modifier added in that fluid, no other fluid should be used. It will damage the trans if the trans has not been rebuilt completly.

    hey sounds awesome. running a tad lean while cruising is fine actually pretty good. and under load climbs up. thats really good. specially for power adders later on and keeping things cool and lubed up. I would not mess with the jets anymore until you adjust the mixture screws. Peace.

    yeah im not converting i have a six cylinder radiator that came with the car. Anyone want a o.e. flow and pressure tested radiator?? Great shape.

    is the six cylinder radiator inlet and outlets in the same spot as the v8s? The reason why i ask is that the v8 hoses i bought from cj won't fit to save there lives. plus the upper inlet is really small compared to the hose itself. Clamping won't help plus these hoses won't reach there inlet and...

    nobody mentioned motorcraft. there a solid plug, coppers are fine. plus whats your total timing set at? I would bump it a few degrees and keep testing till it seems to stop detonating. wouldn't hurt to richen it up a tick too if you think you've gone too lean. Your plugs will tell you everything...

    geez i would hope if i spent over 400 to a grand that none of these problems would exist. I guess you get what you pay for. btw, i got them installed yesterday exept one bolt. there is not room in there to finish tightening this one bolt before the wrench strips right off of it.

    yeah i also had a set of allen head round bolts and there still too long in order to be able to get them straight to get em started. Also i don't see an 18mm thread spark plug from accell to fit these.
