    Need some ideas on headlight bucket repair

    yeah that pot metal is fragile for sure. i would have to put a piece of metal across first and maybe try your idea. I was thinking that an epoxy should work fine since its not a structural piece and then i can maybe do that so the spring holds.

    cowl vent

    sure you can its done a lot on custom rides. if you dont have to, save yourself some time and money and keep it and just use a cowl cover all the time. they protect the inside of the cowl when washing or raining. They don't look to bad either. Just a thought.

    Summit Racing Carb - Anyone with experience?

    on my last build and 306 motor and gt-40p heads i used an eddy 750 and that motor was a beast. easy to tune and enough juice for future add ons.

    The area were the spring attaches to inside the housing is broken. so the bucket just flops around in there.     alternator wiring problem

    they should be labeled on the back of the alternator. the largest is the battery wire, then there is the ground, and field wire.

    Engine running too cool after installing fat shroud

    no not a wrong answer. wrong shroud. As stated above. Whats the point of installing a deeper shroud if you going to compensate the over cooling with a hotter thermostat? Kinda dumb.

    dim passenger side head light

    see what voltage your getting at the good light and then the poor light. one should be lower. trace that one all the way to find out were the bad connection may be. most times in the headlight switch itself.

    Front suspension problems

    tires are the first thing i would look at no matter what type of suspension your getting. then check as stated all of the suspension components. if any have play, replace em. then check the steering box for excessive play.

    Suspension porblem has me stumped....

    he's got no shocks in it now. Put the shocks back in and the sway bar. but i'm thinking it's in the coil. Post pics of it. if you can. and check air pressure in that tire too.

    Engine running too cool after installing fat shroud

    there has been some good tech on these shrouds and they cool too much. yes thats right. Not good for the engine to not reach proper temperature. You should switch back to the old shroud and keep the thermal clutch.

    Any tips on installing a Painless wiring kit?

    trust me. if your running a painless universal. it's not so cut and dry as terminating what wire goes were. If it's an direct fit. painless has a vid on you tube to give you a hand. there website has all of the manuals on there but of course you will get one with the kit.

    there pieces of hollow aluminum tube or steel. you can get yourself some hollow steel pipe most hardware stores and get enough to cut em till you get the right spacing. Not hard just some basic measuring and trial and error on a custom piece. once you get it. right down the size and keep it...

    from what i know is that i would do this with the weight on the car aka on it's wheels when at all possible. if the weight is not in the right location from what i've learned is that it's a big possibility that fitment and or overall repair quality could be comprimised when fitting the panels...
