    Performer 289 or RPM Air Gap

    I have an 88 5.0 HO with the stock cam and 1.7 roller rockers in my II with a C4, 2500 stall converter and 3.80 gears. It now has the performer 289 intake. Will a RPM Air Gap be a better intake or should I stick with the one that I have?

    For $50.00 you can get one at O'Reilly or Advance Auto parts store. They are just like the stock unit but they have the steel gear. The part # is 30-2831 and are made by Cardone. Also DUI makes one like the HEI and it cost around $300.00.

    MII Blinker Problem

    I had something like that happen to mine except it was the right side. Turned to be the turn signal flasher unit. Replaced it and it works fine now.

    C4 Transmission

    Is the C4 trans from a 6 cyl the same as a C4 from a V8 and will it handle the power from a V8?
