Hidden/unobvious shift lights, what and where?

I have the same one - level 2 version - and love it too. I mounted mine on the steering column cover so I could easily watch the revs - the stock tach is stuck on approx 4000 rpms.. Crap pics but you get an idea:

    Help picking heads

TFS heads are top quality - and you get 2.02" / 1.60" valves without having to notch the pistons. And if you are looking for low end torque its hard to beat a Kenne Bell supercharger...

    drivers side header install

Twist and pull upwards, but be careful - its a pain in the ass if you break the tube. Pliers are probably not a good idea, you will most likely squeeze the tube and increase the chances of breaking it. Put on some good working gloves and go for it - gently but firmly :nice:

    clutch

Maximum Motorsports sell various McLeod clutches - and basically you can't go wrong buying anything from MM. I am going to replace my clutch (King Cobra) soon and I am torn between a McLeod from MM or a Centerforce dual friction.

    BBK Intake Noise after upgrade

Is the ticking constant under various conditions? If its more noticeable when driving at say low revs but under load you may have something as simple as a leaking header gasket.

    no traction through hard corners...

Do a visual inspection of the upper and lower control arm bushings - they are probably totally worn out and rotten. I replaced my stock control arms with MM lower and FRPP uppers - and it made for a real nice improvement. However in general the fox rear end is not particularly well designed...

    Need clutch advice

Thanks all your input/advice - I was under the impression that the Spec clutches were pretty race oriented, very grippy i.e. bit tricky to drive in stop and go traffic? But they are good for a daily driver? Lighter than the KC? I really don't think I am going to do any more engine mods...

    Need clutch advice

I will probably need to replace my clutch in the near future, and would much appreciate some advice on which clutch to get. I have been running a FRPP King Cobra clutch for the last 8 years or so - and although it has done a good job I would like to get one that gives better driveability...

    Special equipment - regional differences

My 92 was sold new in Florida and came without rear window defroster - and also no remote hatch opener. Both would have been useful now...

    Wipers died on me

Thats exactly what happened to me last year - on a 200 mile trip in sleat and rain... Not fun  Turned out it was the wiper motor - got a replacement from 5.0 Resto and problem solved :nice:

    Reliability Question

+1 Only been stranded once, and that was two years ago when my stock, original clutch cable snapped. Not worried at all about the aftermarket parts - but I tend to only buy parts from quality brands.

Rear end feels like it sways, what causes this?

Do a visual check of your upper control arm bushings, mine were completely rotted out - and replacing them with new FRPP arms/bushings made a huge difference.

Those with full Eibach Pro Kit suspension installs, how does it ride?

You may consider going with the Eibach shocks/struts - Eibach designs their suspension parts to work together, and at least I feel more comfortable going with one supplier instead of piecing together from many different suppliers. And the Eibach shocks/struts come with a 1 million mile...

    current form of induction poll

I'd say a supercharger is the practical and most convenient way to go about it. Good power and driveability, and fairly easy to install, and you can still get very good mileage. Turbo charged cars are awesome, when they work as they should... However not much beats a strong, high rev n/a...

Those with full Eibach Pro Kit suspension installs, how does it ride?

If it feels floating at highway speeds then you def need an alignment. Mine feels very steady even at 100+ mph, even though the rag joint in the steering is probably starting to get a bit tired. Get some caster camber plates, and get it set up with pretty much as much caster as possible.

    FRPP King Cobra clutch

I don't have to push the pedal very far in before it releases, however recently it seems quite a bit more heavy when the drivetrain is cold. As soon as everything is warmed up it feels like it always has, and I can't sense any slippage. Although when downchanging at somewhat higher revs than...

    FRPP King Cobra clutch

Not sure if this should go under tech or talk, anyways here goes. For those of you who have experience with the King Cobra clutch, up to what powerlevels are they good, and what kind of durability can I expect? I have been using one for the last 8 years and approximately 60,000 miles -...

Those with full Eibach Pro Kit suspension installs, how does it ride?

I am very pleased with mine, huge difference in cornering and not too harsh when on rough roads. Not sure if the Eibach swaybars, which I installed later, was much of an improvement though, but at least the front sway bar adds some lightness..
