    Smoking Blue

sounds like your rings arn't seating well. you need to run 10w-30 or 20w-50 to let the engine get broken in first. Then move to syn. I would run thicker than 5w-30 in it anyway. like 10w-30 or even 20w-50. Jimmie

    351W head ?s

yeah you know you've got a problem when the motor is running and you can see the press in studs pulling out. the tapping can cause some problems as far as bending the pushrods or cracking the rocker arm. I've seen both happen personally. its not a good feeling when you just put the motor...

What is this? Anyone! See Pic

i think its the ac overflow. When the AC condensates inside the heater box all the water comes out of that hole so it doesn't build up inside and end up in your floorboard. Jimmie

Carb Spacer ... is it needed ??

putting a carb on the intake without the spacer would present a few problems. Here are some reasons why you need a spacer. #1. It keeps the heat from the engine from boiling the fuel in the carb. #2. cooler fuel is always better, denser, atomizes better. #3. A spacer moves the carb up higher...

    ANYONE TRIED EDELBROCK AIRGAP

i've got one on a 351w but it wont fit under a stock hood with an aircleaner. however it looks good and it has an excellent throttle response. its better than the regular rpm because the air gap gives it a cooler denser air flow charge into the cylinder. jimmie
