    hm... if you are going to install a head unit you shouldn't use a hi-lo converter. the sound quality wont be as good, and aftermarket head units all have rcas outputs for subs that you can wire to the back anyway.

    probably only if you want to go lower than 1.5". if you get the eibach pro-kits, h&r sports, or anything like that you most likely wont need them.

    there shouldn't be any clearance problems, especially if you car still has stock springs. your speedo may change slightly, use this tool to figure it out: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html you put in your original and new tire sizes, and it will tell you the difference (in MPH)...

    um.. yea, to loosen you would have to turn the stud counter-clockwise, so they are tightened in the clockwise direction (same directions as the nut that goes on the stud)

    www.2kgt.com has a tech article with many spring rates, under tech->coil spring tech. really nice site. cutting the stockers will blow out ur shocks/struts easily, just get some eibach pro-kits or something, they should have similar to stock ride. only about $200.
