Who's got the # for Kelly's Mustang Parts?

Well, Vince Kelly's home number is 259-2289, I dont know if its the same for the yard, but the number for the yard doesnt seem to be listed. He's usually got an ad in the parts section of auto traders too.

I'm starting to hate my car!!!!!

I didnt know that .030 pistons were hard to find. I didnt have any trouble finding a set for mine. Even when it grenaded and I had to put in 3 new 0.040 pistons it was no problem. However, some time in the late 80's they when from imperial ring dimensions to metric and I found that one set...

    I need a torque qoute

Say 500 lb ft torque, so (500 lb ft * 1st gear ratio * rear axle ratio) /2 axles that should give you your max torque per axle, also you may have to multiply by your converters torque multiplication (if its an automagic)

    Sigh....

Well, so much for my tranny swap this week. Edge sent me the wrong converter for my AOD, a non lock up, instead of a locker. :( So it looks like I'll be driving my dad's crappy sunbird back to S'toon (I'm in Three Hills, AB now) instead of risking being stranded with a burnt transmission...

is this Edge TC a lock up?

Hi guys, I'm posting this here because it seems like a lot of you guys have Edge converters and I have a question about the one I received. I was just looking at the AOD converter Edge sent me and I'm wondering whether its a lock up unit. The way I understand it, in a stock style converter...

    Any snowmobilers?

The old man used to have a couple Polaris sleds. One of them was like a 95 trail sled. That thing was a tank, it got rolled so many times. I think we had to put three windshields on it or something stupid like that. The last time it was rolled my brother smashed a big rock with it and busted...

    AOD and Header problems?

I used hedman part #88300, in my Comet. These hedders are for a 289-302/C$ in a 64-73 mustang. However, the collectors would not clear the extra width of the AOD, so there was some modification needed. Here is a picture of the mods I had to do to them. I cut the collector off just past...

    Belt Question

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about running them on the backside of a pulley. I suppose you would have to if you were running more than a couple accessories. I was just thinking about running an alternator and a water pump off the crank.

    Belt Question

Hi guys, I'm just doing some thinking here (I know, dangerous...) Serpentine belts are commonly used to drive more than one accessory with one belt. Is it possible to drive multiple accessories with a v belt? Seems like it should work, but I dont know whether I've seen it done or not...

What the numbers for tire sizes mean, really dumb question..

Most tire manufacturers have tables on their websites that tell you what size's fit on what rims, tire height, width, speed rating etc. example: BFGoodrich Radial T/A, this is from tirerack.com http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=BFGoodrich&model=Radial+T%2FA
