Hi guys, I'm posting this here because it seems like a lot of you guys have Edge converters and I have a question about the one I received.
I was just looking at the AOD converter Edge sent me and I'm wondering whether its a lock up unit. The way I understand it, in a stock style converter, lock up is achieved by driving through the direct input shaft which is fixed to the converter body, ie: the direct shaft should not rotate in relation to the body. However, with this Edge unit, the direct shaft does spin the stator. Did they send me a non lock up converter or does it lock up some other way?
I know the best way to find out would be by phoning them, but they're not open until tuesday, and I would like to know as soon as possible.
