    I've been using the clear inline kind that you can get at most parts stores for very cheap. If money isn't an issue then definitely go with the Steeda style filter. My filters eventually develop holes in them, presumably from heat and pressure. I replace them about once a month or so.

    None whatsoever! Which is saying a lot for my car. It used to have bad problems with pre-detonation, but I've been pretty pro-active in the past year and haven't had any issues with it.

    Well I'm sort of leaning to one that is near flawless on the interior and exterior, with a few of the basic bolt-on mods. I'd love to have a lot of power, but coming from a 3.8 to 5.0 would make me quite happy, so I don't really need any major power mods. I'm still going to take a look at that...

    You're taking the proper steps to improve it. A drop in K&N will help a small bit with MPG, as will a CAI. Are you also keeping up with your tire inflation and wear?

    I've been casually looking for a nice 5.0 to buy, and my father in law gave me a tip on one in the area. It is a convertible and is the final year that the 5.0s were produced. I haven't seen it yet or have much info about it, but they are asking $15,000 for it. It only has 10,000 miles on it...
