    New TB & Intake Manifold...

Get a can of spray on permatex gasket remover, part #80646. That and a scraper. Good luck.

New motor gone south? *SICK STOMACH*

Also, to prevent chips from getting into the mix, use magnets to gather them. If you wrap them in rags, they'll clean up easier. BTW, those bolts are probably hardened, so try to find a carbide drill bit and run it fairly slow. Good Luck.

    Roll Control

I've seen something like this before, it was a solenoid/valve combo that mounted to the proportioning block off the master cylinder. Sorry, but I don't recall the manufacturer.

302 to 302 engine swap, tranny help

I'm with raginbul469, and I presume you've got some decent equipment? Also, try to remove the radiator and anything else that might get crunched when the motor swings forward. If you do remove the two together, be ready to catch the trans oil when the yolk is removed. Good Luck.

    Burning Oil......

While looking for this potential leak, check on the lower manifold against the firewall. There is a PCV valve and screen there. I've seen these things pop out and vent oil down the back of the motor and onto the trans.

Victor EFI on my S/C'd Cobra

89 blue lx, these mods were done prior to the installation of 42# injectors and an 80mm Pro-M. Other than that, it's in my sig. I installed these parts now basically because I could, I've got Canfield Stage 2 heads and a 331 stroker on the way. I figured the $20 in gaskets was worth it...

Victor EFI on my S/C'd Cobra

Well I've finally finished! I had to mod the lower, and make a spacer/adapter to compensate for the lack of an EGR spacer, but it's done and it screams. I had pics of the adapter being made on the CNC machine, but SOMEONE accidentally erased them  . Let me know what you folks think. Next...

    Throttle Body studs????

Ya, what he said, except put a washer in between the nuts. It'll prevent them from both spinning. If you're still stuck use some heat, someone may have used thread locking compound. Good luck.

Can a smaller alternator pulley help my idle?

If you have a multimeter, you can check the "incoming" charge to the battery. Just put the leads directly on the battery terminals. If your meter is set to the correct range, it should be at least 14 volts (14.6 I think). Good Luck.

How many of you guys run some sort of a power adder w/ hypert. pistons?

IMO, the problem with Hypertec pistons and a charger is what can happen with pre-ignition and all of that boost. The Hypertec pistons may not last.

Will a heavier oil help blow by or help quiet a supercharger?

I agree here, the whining, jet engine sound that you're asking about is probably the compressor vanes in the SC unit. See if you can get an SQ unit, I think those are quieter. BTW, I know this one person (stupid girl) who every time she hears my car says" WHY DOES IT ALWAYS SOUND LIKE IT"S...

Will a heavier oil help blow by or help quiet a supercharger?

I use Mobil-1 15-50 for hot weather/extreme conditions. What supercharger do you have, and what noise are you reduce? What makes you think you have blow by? Also, if you are running rich you will be using more oil, especially if it's not 15-50.

How to get 10#'s of boost?

Your set up is fairly close to mine. Before I make any HP or torque predictions, be conservative and err to side of caution with timing and a/f. Your biggest HP "adder" will be a spot on WB dyno tune. With that said 325 to 350 HP and Torque rear wheel. You'll also want 42# injectors, and make...
