    ok, it is not bored over twice. i was mistaken. the block came from Probe it is a production block and was jet black. i doubt there is a difference I was just stating its a new block and is black is all.

    I asked Rick at AFM the same question, here is what he told me " You have to vent your valve covers, one way is put breathers on each valve cover or run one breather and your PCV"

    I have a 347 with s trim/aftercooler and HKS blow off valve. Anyone just blow it out into atmoshere? I hear it will mess up your tune bad.

    yes i agree, think im gonna hack off ball and socket and just go flange to flange and weld headers in full circle at flange. should be good to go

    It does have a Probe stud girdle though so that helps. If it breaks im going to a 400+ ci so when it does crack it will be just the kick i needed to get more cubic inches and drop in a YS trim :)

    another option is to have the ball and socket stretched at exhaust shop although I have not heard of this bieng done BBK told me its one option.

    I have a 347 afr 205 AFM b-41 blower cam Vortech s trim/aftercooler 15psi and I "ONLY WANT 3 inch" exhaust. The ball does downsize but its 3 inch at flange I measured. All he had to do was cut flange and move it back if he wanted it like that. What a waste of money...

    sounds like block to me still, but could be head gasket. pull heads and have a better look.

    stick with the 373's, they are ideal. not too much, not to little. AFM btw recommends 373 on blown cars too

    yes its stock block, im praying it holds, my buddy makes close to 600RWHP in his 331 w/stock block for the last year but his was a new block from Probe, but still stock. i have heard some people hit over 650RWHP but I know they are on borrowed time.

    the block can take way over 450!! My buddy is pushing 591RWHP with his 331 Novi 2000 15psi for the last year, granted it was a new block from Probe but still a stock one.

    if you cut the originals then you just tack weld the new ball and sockets or what? Now they are only tack welded in 3 spots according to BBK. I was thinking of hacking of ball and socket and just welding flange in a full circle and using a good gasket and just bolt flange to flange with no ball...

    I have BBK 1 3/4 long tube headers and want to run 3 inch exhaust but im told the collector is 3 inch but reduces to 2 1/2 at flange, anyone running 3 inch exhaust?
