    just installed intake manifold..

expect a hefty bill if you take it somewhere to be done. i did mine a few weeks ago. it sucks, but not nearly as bad as i thought it would. i figure i did it in about 7-8 hours of total working time, split over 1 1/2 days. you'll have to pull your dash out to get to the heater box.

    how to recover r134a???

well the problem is, i cant have a shop do it, the whole dash is out of the car and its not drivable right now, the only way to make it drivable is to replace the heatercore, but before i can get to it, i have to disconnect the a/c lines at the firewall. honestly, i dont care if i "recycle...

    burning smell from a/c vents?

    burning smell from a/c vents?

update. pretty sure its the heater core. on the passanger side of the firewall, right behind the lower part of the engine, there is a little hole and a grommet or something(like a weep hole) well while the car is running, antifreeze is dripping out of that hole and hitting the exhaust(and...

    burning smell from a/c vents?

it sorta smells electrical, how safe would it be to have it unbolted and running??? how fast do they spin? will it cut my fingers off? haha figure its the best way to check it, have it in the open and running, but i dont want it flying off and killing me

    burning smell from a/c vents?

so for a little while now(even worse today) the ac/vents when they are on, produce a strong burning type smell. if i leave the blower off for a little while(even a couple minutes) and turn it back on, it will smell REALLY bad and then die down to something a little more tolerable. also...

sometimes i really feel sorry for ricers

wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, only did it once, and i think the weight helped it stay stable(3950lbs). of course its lowered and has good tires on 17" wheels, so it was all "mostly" safe:nono:
