    a buddy of mine gave me a good peice of advise a long time ago. He says, when your buying little engine hop ups and bolt ons, or replacement parts, alwasy go the extra mile to get the top quality parts, because the cheap ones break, and the good ones make a good selling point

    alright, but how about the magazine guys that track test all the new cars? like all the 05 mustang track tests. . . you think they break those in? of course not! They just let it warm up, and then run the 1/4 mile a few times, no big deal. I think the guys at mm+ff know what they're doing...

    you've all heard them say you have to drive it at least like 1200 miles or something, to let the piston rings set, before you drive over 3500 rpms or so. . . but is it really true? The guys that really deal with high performance engines on a day to day business seem to drag race brand new...

    Thats bull crap! Ive seen different fords have that problem, but never a mustang. you might try checking for leaks?

    drivetrain slack sounds like a good way to describe it. . . do you think its up in the tranny or back towards the differential? it sounds so bad though! Id rather everything fit together tightly, you know?
