    I have a rusty 5.0

I thought it was slightly funny, but that's embarassing. You did the right thing by banning both names.

whats the biggest ghetto rigs you've done?

Looped my coolant lines when my heater core went. Oh, and zip tied my cracked bumper and broken fog light together..damn ice blocks.

Fun to drive car less than 10,000 ?

Air bag modules fry, $2500 fix. Control arms like to bend (frequently) since they're aluminum. Light bulbs pop weekly. Look out for complete electrical meltdown as well.

Why I hate this time of year.

A couple weeks ago it was -40 here, without windchill. Sunrise - 8:26. Sunset - 4:41. Only 4 more months!

    IM GOING TURBO

14 psi is borderline for reliability on track. I'd stay at 9-10 psi for street, 14 for track, and 18 if you want a new motor in a hurry.

    IM GOING TURBO

If you're spending $4000+ on a turbo kit, the least you can do is spend $100 on new HG's..

Fun to drive car less than 10,000 ?

If you're a good driver, RWD is no problem in the winter. The IS300 looks amazing, it's not exactly slow, and it has Toyota reliability. The North American IS300 was RWD only; an AWD wagon was available elsewhere. The North American IS250 is available with AWD, however.

    Suade dye

When dying fabrics, it's usually a good idea to only go darker than the original color. That being said, the dye will slowly bleed into your clothes, making a hell of a mess. Door panels maybe, but I'd re-cover the seats.

    Tire Recommendations Please

I personally am not, but they will be my next summer tire. A 225/50R16 all around would work. You won't notice an incredible difference going from a 245 from a 225 out back. Being able to rotate them is a big plus.

    Tire Recommendations Please

Yes, the flares were slightly bigger to accomodate the ponies in 1990.

    Tire Recommendations Please

A great deal are the Falken Azenis RT-615s. Absolutely the fastest street-legal tire in corners, and the best drag tire with the exception of slicks and drag radials. They are super cheap, too. Not to mention they look killer.

    one expensive stang!!

OK, I'll arm strtrcr50 with some info here. I have: 1997 Neon Sport - designated crapbox (dd) 1998 Neon R/T - Fun car 1995 Civic CX - backup for the dd. Will probably be selling. 1990 Mazda RX-7 - decent idea gone somewhat wrong. Will be selling this spring. 1964 Mustang Coupe - bought when 13...

    one expensive stang!!

Not at all. I think I have more respect for sport compacts because my 5.0 was such a turd. I probably had $15k (cdn mind you) in my car, and the best I could shake out of it was a 14.39 @ 92. I had a turbo setup, but the car would have needed so many supporting mods to get it done, I thought it...
