AFR and Trickflows: Dyno graphs & street fun.. lets compare shall we?

Took the words out of my mouth. I was thinking the same thing. There will be differences (small or large ) who knows because no one is providing the custom cam numbers. But there will be differences. Are the custom cam folks required to sign a nondisclosure form?

    New wheel headaches..

Don't feel alone. I had the same problem clearing the front Cobra calipers with the ARE Torque Thrust IIs (17x9.5). ARE's catalog says they fit the 94-95 Mustangs. When I called about the issue the rep said Oh yeah they won't clear the Cobra front calipers. The 1/4" spacer did the trick...

I think your first ? to BlackVert should've been - Why not? On a side note. If you buy parts you no longer need you can sell them easily. So not to big of a deal there.

Stay away from a to high of a compression if you plan to go blower or turbo.

    Well it turns out.....

Could be the regulator is not regulating pressure like it should. If so just get a stock replacement regulator and be done with it. The computer tunes out any adjustments anyway.

Good to know. What kind of heat tape and where did you get it from? Is it the same as the header wrap? I used some zip ties to pull it further away from the stubbies. It's been good since. But the heat tape sounds good. Let me know.

OFFICIAL: How many miles are on your 94-95 Mustang?

To me that's a good sign that people are driving these cars and not :taco:ing around with them. Drive it 'til the wheels fall off. Don't lockem up in the garage and pamper them.:nice: I have over 127K miles on mine and it sat for about 4 years before being put back on the road. I was out of...

I'm not sure but I do not that when I was setting idle parameters, via the TwEECer, which required 20 second no load rpms between idle and 2K rpm, my headers were beet red (HOTTTT). So hot it melted the shield over the clutch cable (eventually had to be replaced). So I don't think theres...

    Idle on cold mornings

The computer, at least mine, is set for 120 seconds before it goes to closed loop after startup. Not necessarily when the O2s are warmed. It's a time thing - 120 seconds. And yes you are correct, the long tube headers places the O2s farther away causing them not to warm up. I've seen this...

    95 Cobra Bolt-on Dyno results.

Here's an article on why an AFPR may not be a good investment for our cars. The short is the computer dials out any adjustments over time. http://www.mustangworks.com/index.cfm/page_id/3/content_id/336
