    Money Saver Forum

This forum is by far the best organization I couldve joined. All the people here have a lot of Mustang Know-how that others can learn off of. It saves alot of money on finding out what the problem is instead of taking to a shop for a diagnosis. This is the first place I go to when Im having...

Where to get long tube headers?

GET THOSE thats probably the best you would find for a pair of longtubes...i wish I wouldve got LT instead of shorty headers, LT have a nice sound to them especially with Flow masters. I dont regret getting the shorties though....nice deep sound that doesnt sound ricey at all. But if I could go...

I have a concern though, Im wondering if I order a new TPS online if it will come with the two screws to put it on my TB. The screws on...

    Tranny Mounts

I checked it out today and it did turn out to be the transmission mount. No oil though, i found it odd as mustang LX stated, since its an 04 the mounts would be worn. Im gonna tackle the job tomorrow. Should be fairly easy. As always I appreciate all the help guys.

    Tranny Mounts

The clunking happens everytime I shift to any gear and it continues to clunk on bumpy roads or at any bump or dip in the road. When I shut off the ignition it vibrates for the last time and the clunk is clean and crisp sounding. Sometimes the clunk goes on while my car is in neutral and idle RPMS.

Does anyone know where I can find Tranny mounts for an 04 V-6, I looked everywhere online but i only find them for the V-8. My tranny is starting to clunk when I shift or turn it off. Is it urgent if the clunking just started? Any advice on whether I should keep driving it?Thanks!

    Engine Flush?

I was at the shop today purchasing some PB blaster and I noticed an ENGINE FLUSH fluid on the shelf. Since I am changing my oil this weekend I thought I might do the engine flush as well but I wondered if it would harm the engine. The directions on the bottle say to pour all of the contents into...

    Right Side Header....HELP

Today we were installing a set of JBA cat4ward headers on my 04 V6. We managed to get the left header in with no problems but as soon as we were about to take the right side header off we noticed its attached to a metal hose. We cant think of a way to get in there to disconnect. Im wondering if...

    What's that sound?

I have the same problem on my 04, it does a screeching sound. It seems as if its coming from the clutch but I just got it replaced about a month ago. Only when I start the car on a cold engine do I hear the loud screech but its only for the initial crank which lasts about 1 to 2 seconds, after...

    Headers

I bought some JBA cat4ward headers and Ive had them sittin around in the trunk for about a month. I still questioning my mechanical abilities and I was wondering if anyone could tell me or give me an idea of how to install these instead of having to pay a mechanic 80 an hour. They are for a 2004...

    Clutch replacement

Well I went ahead and started the job, got kind of lost in the process but luckily enough one of my buddies was working on his car in the bay next to mine and it took the both of us 4 hours to finish up the job, I didnt bother resurfacing the old flywheel so we just replaced it with a new one...

    Cold air intake? Dual exhausts?

A tuner will help to get the most out of your mods but its not required. I installed a K&N and a TB on my 3.8 and felt the difference right away, and no idling problems should occur unless you accidentally break the throttle position sensor (like I did) and leave it unplugged but that is an...

    2002 Mustang V6- Needs work! Modifications/Help

I would keep the car clean, what I did to mine is some upgrades that still makes it a mustang, for example: I installed headers, dual exhaust, 3rd LED brake light (black), new OEM headlights, HID kit, and 2003 black cobra rims. I kept it with the mustang style and didnt "rice"it out like some...
