    Clutch cable, quadrant, and adjuster?

You'll have the most fun removing the oem quadrant. Peel the carpet back and push the pedal all the way down. Remove the two pins. You'll have to break or pry off the white plastic piece. The new one goes in a lot easier. The cable and adjuster are a snap.

    Which oil weight?

The manual calls for 10W30. I have used them all. I like 20W50 for my needs overall.

changing shifter what's the best fluid for my T5

I always head that the T-5 works best with ATF. I put Aamco Mercon V sythetic blend in my rebuilt tranny. It shifts great. You can get it at AutoZone.

Running Boost on a 93 motor? Hypereutectic piston question.

It all depends on the amount of boost that you are going to run and your tuning. I have a 2003 Mazda also which is turbocharged and it does not have forged internals. It came that way from the factory. As long as you keep under 10 psi or so, you should be okay.

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

I hear you. I was going to get 02's, IAC, and EGR w/sensor also, but decided to see if the module would help and run down the leak. So yeah spending $35 for a new module only and cleaning the other parts worked out well. I should have replaced the injectors and FPR when I had the engine...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Its hard to say for sure, but the car was dumping too much fuel and burning it very quickly when I drove it. I only cleaned the EGR and IAC due to the sooty residue found on the first set of plugs and what was coming out the exhaust. I'm sure that I was not getting the proper spark with a bad...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

PROBLEM SOLVED Tonight I cleaned the EGR and IAC. Replaced the TFI module and found that the vacuum line to the MAP was unconnected. No more smoke out of the exhaust and the car idles better. I let it come up to temp and set the timing at 12 BTDC. It runs 100% better now and seems to be...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Does the fact that the engine was off and not up to normal operating temperature impact the signal from the O2 sensor? I would think so as the code description tells you to run the car at 2,000 RPM's until it the water temp reaches normal and to shut it off and see if you still pull the O2 code...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

The entire engine was dissassembled and given the full machine shop treatment. The cylinder heads were completely rebuilt. The compression test revealed solid numbers. Don't think its the motor. Some sort of computer or sensor problem is more than likely the culprit.

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

The guy that rebuilt my engine is a Master rebuilder. I doubt that his tolerances were improper in any way. Something is very wrong however in that the car had no such issues prior to taking out the engine and rebuilding the car. I originally had factory spec motorcraft plugs in the engine. I...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

No oil on the plugs, just soot. Its a constant smoke. I've only put 20 miles on the engine. I'm stumped!

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Pulled some codes With the key on/engine off I got a 13,34,43,and 67. Didn't want to run the engine due to the rich exhaust condition. Not sure if any of those would cause my vacuum problem.

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

I hook the gauge line up to the black vacuum tree on the fire wall. Its just too low at idle. Not sure why. I replaced all of the vacuum hoses and plugged unused ports, not sure what could be leaking but somethings is obviously wrong. Yeah, the sound compression numbers were the one bright...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Vacuum still sucks..... Its still 13 at vacuum and only 23 at WOT. Blocked off EGR to see if that would help and it was the same readings. Not sure what direction to go in now.

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Did a compression check and found out the following: Cylinder 1-158 Cylinder 5-158 Cylinder 2-155 Cylinder 6-153*the lowest Cylinder 3-158 Cylinder 7-158 Cylinder 4-158 Cylinder 8-156 Going to change out the plugs as the are still sooty and now have a...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

The car still is not running right. I changed the oil and noticed it had a strong fuel odor to it. I just don't know what the problem is at this point.

    bbk vs bassani x pipe

The difference lies in the materials and cost. I recently put on my BBK x-pipe and like how it sounds. I had an exhaust leak at the intermediate pipes, but fixed that with a Dynomax 2.5" Ultra Flo System. No more leaks. The fitment was a challenge in putting on, but that is to be expected with...

    Running rich, bad fuel injectors?

Running better, but..... I replaced the fuel injectors and FPR and drove the car for the first time for 7 miles. It does idle better now, but its still rich. The temperature is low and maybe that has something to do with the richness. So I am going to install a new ECT sensor to see if that...
