Axle cover fill plug

What size hex key do you need to remove the fill plug on a Ford Motorsport axle cover? Anybody know. I know its bigger than anything in my set.

Use a 3/8 rachet with and ext, it will fit right in the plug

Its not a 4 sided plug, its a hex plug. That works on the T-5 though.

It's a 1/4 inch allen head.

Nope, I have that size and the fill plug is bigger. Oh well, I'll just buy a set that starts at 3/8 and goes up.

The fill plug is a 3/8 and the drain plug is a 1/4 hex key. Man does this thing allow for more gear oil, even with the 4 oz friction modifier. Good thing that I am puting synthetic in as I do not plan on filling again for a while. I broke the gears in for 500 miles with dino gear oil.

Dood... You don't fill the rear all the way up to the fill plug in the cover. LOL. You way overfilled it if you did.

Wonder why the installation instructions tell you to fill it until the fluid runs out of the fill hole?
