    67 Dash Lights -Flickering?

If you mean the voltage regulator, it gives constant power to the guages, so I dont think it would effect the brightness/flickering. If it were bad, I think your gauges would be going haywire. My best guess is the headlight switch. Btw, if you want brighter you might want to look into the...

Anybody near Monroe, NC (Union County) area?

I'll be moving to Peachland (Anson county) in Oct. As it is, I take a trip down there about once a month. I drive a 67 Mustang which should be lime gold by the time I move.

    help on my 67 mustang

Did you replace the fuel lines when everything else was cleaned? Mine were clogged when something similar was happening to mine when I first bought it. If you have to replace the carb, I have a suggestion. I bought a progressive two bbl for mine from stovebolt. It and the adaptor ran me less...

Where can I get a pull cable for drivers side footvent?

He's talking about the vent under the dash on the driver's side (footvent). I dont know where to find one either, mine was missing when I bought the car, so I'd be interested if anyone knows where to get one also.

    68 Coupe with a 6 cylinder?

probably not. A lot of stuff from the 60's did. One guy I know of was able to get aussie crossflow head to work on a us 250. I'd like to see the european turbo I6, it was a concept but was about 180ci and made like 350hp.

    68 Coupe with a 6 cylinder?

Just to throw another idea at ya. you can fix up the six and get a lot more power out of it. It will certainly be different. A stock 81 truck 300's torque rating was only surpassed by the 400 and larger engines of that year. just a little something to think about.

    Engine swap

I agree with 65straightsick. At one time, I started to gather parts for the swap. I ended up just hopping up the six (still not done).

    4 cyl T-5

6stang8, You could be correct, I haven't weighed the transmissions or anything. I have just read that the 4cyl version is a few lbs lighter physically. The I6's power potential hasn't been really looked at over here, but it certainly has a lot of potential. The proof is what our...

    4 cyl T-5

As of right now, all I have is the Holley/Webber 5200 carb (a cheap swap if you havent already done something with a carb), which really gives it a kick with the duel outlet header and duel exhaust. I also have a mild cam that a preivous owner had intsalled. I have a few other parts still in...

    4 cyl T-5

Glad to see you decided not to follow the crowd. I think the base 4cyl version was rated for 240 lbs of torque. There were other versions of course. This could be a problem. The only advantage I see to using a 4cyl version is that its 1)lighter 2) the gear ratios are better for the six. I...

    Questions on a 65...

cowl vent rust is a major problem for most early mustangs if not already fixed. I'm guessing it hasnt been fixed since its origional paint. Look out for it. There aren't any specific motor issues to look for that I know of.

    1967-1968 Coupe INTERIOR QUARTER PANELS

No one I know of makes them. I don't know why, the grain gets worn off with time anyway so I would think there would be a large enough market for them. Don't know about the convertible peices.

Front Disc or Mustang II upgrade THAT IS THE QUESTION

www.fatmanfab.com has a kit that looks interesting. It keeps the weight where it belongs (firewall and shock towers) not like the MII. Its expensive though and I cant seem to find anyone who has installed one yet

Ok, so the rack&pinions suck... What are we gonna do about it?

I had been looking at the Mustang II setup for awhile, not because I wanted extra clearance in the bay or r&p for that matter. I have a 6 cylinder and I want disc brakes, so I figure why not go ahead and go the extra step. I read through most of this thread and no one mentioned this...
