2009 mustang - which transmission help!!!

Depends on the model. V6 still had the T5, GT had the TR-3650.

“Mystery Mufflers” vs. Roush Axle Backs - Exhaust Comparison

What size are those, 3"? Almost look like they might be Dynomax Race Bullets (they do sell a Race Bullet axle back, only place I think I've ever seen it being sold is Rock Auto). Either that or it's something that was cobbled together, not sure.

    Rear quarter marker lights.

I bought clear markers and installed red LED panels, with clear silicone gooped on them to diffuse the light (I later got my hand on some diffuser material so if I ever redo them I will use it next time), and put tint on it. Looks half decent that way, and still has some kind of a marker light...

    2005 Mustang Clutch Problems

Glad to hear that worked! I wasn't even sure. Sucks that you don't have second gear...well, removing the transmission isn't enormously difficult, just a pain, as is everything. You'll probably want to remove the intake manifold to access the top two bellhousing bolts, I know I did...the rest...

    2005 Mustang Clutch Problems

Yeah it's a pain in the ass...I pulled out the pedal assembly to do mine because I thought you couldn't access the rear bolt but it turns out you can from inside the car. You pretty much have to pull the driver's seat and lay on your back to work on it. I took these pics of the assembly out of...

    2005 Mustang Clutch Problems

OK. Well, that's how I did it and had no issues at all. Maybe try replacing the clutch master cylinder? edit: Just happened to think, were you getting 20" of vacuum on the bleeder?

    2005 Mustang Clutch Problems

Did you bleed it via the cap on the master cylinder?

    2005 Mustang Clutch Problems

How did you vacuum bleed the clutch? I just did a whole clutch job including replacing the clutch master cylinder, I was able to get the system bled in about 10 minutes with a vacuum bleeder.

    Should i buy a 3v

3V's are fine, I've never had any major issues with mine HOWEVER I did replace the cam phasers at around 80K- not because they were giving me problems, but that's when I installed my cams and was chasing another problem that turned out to be a manufacturing defect with the cams. The phasers are...

Just picked up, 2010 GT. Stiff clutch, hard to shift?

I think that's an issue with the hydraulic slave cylinder and its limited range of travel. Mine was sometimes like that too. Possibly your throwout bearing/slave cylinder needs a shim under it, but you have to pull the transmission to be able to access it.

Looking for Throttle Body Spacer and CAI advice

The big advantage I found with t-bolt clamps is that they usually have a wider band than worm gear clamps.

What is the dimension of slip yoke

Yep these newer cars have no slip yoke which is great. It was nice to be able to drop my transmission for my clutch job without having to drain the transmission.

Looking for Throttle Body Spacer and CAI advice

Anything you "felt" from the spacer was placebo...they do nothing on fuel injected vehicles except lighten your wallet. Sorry. If you have it I suppose you might as well run it. Not sure what affect it could have on that boot, could cause premature cracking due to the compression but it's hard...

    MODS to avoid

"Cold air" intakes aren't worth much on these cars alone, most tuners recommend them just for the increased air flow when you do a tune. Is it necessary, I dunno, probably not. The tune is where you get all the power. Not sure what car/engine you have exactly but good mods on these cars are...

    OMG!! Tires are a PIA!!

Pretty sure you can run 285's on the rear with no issues. You can't really go wider than a 255 on the factory 17's because they're only 8" wide. If you get 18's make sure they are 18x9.

    05-09 Custom Tune Qustion

If it has an aftermarket CAI it already has some sort of tune. If it has the factory airbox it should still have the factory tune on it. Also you don't find the specs, the tuner will set that for you. I would recommend checking out Lito at www.tudyno.com especially if you have some kind of...

    fuel gauge ?

Could very well be the stepper motor in the gauge. Mine was showing all kinds of weird readings for a couple months then stopped working altogether, followed by one of the other gauges (can't remember which one). There are places that will replace the stepper motors if you send them your cluster...
