    Need to maximize gas mileage

    Im running DD bullits with a 9 psi kb kit. I get about 17 mpg city driving and 19 mpg highway. I can't tell you what the diff from the DD bullits are but the extra rotational mass will chug up some for sure.

    mach 460 problem???

    Actually I think the setting is accessed by pressing the on-off switch for more than 5 seconds. I use a setting of 4 in my vert which is nice.. it will raise the volume when I increase speed to overcome the wind noise.

    Back from the track... And now in the 12 sec club!

    I'm trapping at 111-112 with bolt ons..... and thats in my heavy a$$ vert.... I do consider my KB to be bolt on bc thats what I did.. bolted it on... I had a bunch of passes where I could not get traction with my street tires and I kept on trapping @ 108 (2.2 60's)... that was in 90+* weather...

    Race Fuel???

    It does not help even if you have a power adder unless you have a different tune or a handheld tuner that can tweak your tune on site. It will add some extra protection against detonation if you are running a power adder. It is a waste of money to put it in a car with no power adder...

    How do you fix the rattle in the dash/middle vents?

    This can be easily fixed with a piece of tape. And I bet you that the piece will cost less than 50 bucks so if you are worried about voiding your warranty, just go to a dealership and order the part and install it yourself. It should not take more than 1 minute to install. Joe

    Nothing. If the car is set up properly and runs well then it should handle like stock on the highway. It only starts to 'rumble' when you get on it... so if you are not sure about the tune n stuff then keep the rpm's down until you get it to a dyno.

    Thats what I thought. I went for the 9 psi kit bc I knew that the 6er would be to slow... well the 9psi is too slow and now I wish I would have gone with forged internals... damn, gotta pull the engine this winter.... and buy a 14 psi pulley

    KB 9# w/stock gears?

    I've got stock gears. It gets the job done. You can spinn the tires at will. For a DD I would keep the stock gears, but I am going to see some track action so I am buying stickies and I will put in 3.73's when I rebuild the rear end.

    Power Window Help..Window stuck down

    I had the same thing happen on my vert 2 weeks ago. I pulled the doorpanel and disconnected the 3 bolts that hold the motor in. One you have disconnected the motor you can manually push the window up. I then reconnected the motor to the harness and it worked again. I re-installed the motor...

    radar detector hardwire

    I tapped into the map-lights power (on your rear view mirror). Don't do this though. Every time I open the door and the lights go on the detector goes out. I had to rewire it to the fuse box.... which I hate bc its a pain to be on your back working upside down....
