    Will I regret this?

Yeah, I was gonna say you'll need the smog pump unless they're the new cats that don't need them. Both of mine have cats deleted and I've sometimes wished I had cats because of the smell. It sounds badass without them, but the smell is sometimes rediculous...and I'd like to not hurt the...

    Exhaust

I don't think I'm gonna have an answer, but I have some questions that might help someone else: Does the car run alright? Not hard to start...this overlaps into the timing issue mentioned before. Does exhaust come out of both pipes? The easy answer is that it sounds like maybe exhaust...

    T5 - shifter won't move

Yep - removed the tailhousing to replace the speedo drive gear inside the tranny. I ended up finding lawbreakers thread w/ many helpful pictures. I pulled the top cover and managed to get it into neutral after way too much messing w/ it. I put the tailhousing back on and since the "shaft"...

    T5 - shifter won't move

Pulled tranny to put the speedo gear back on (it came loose). Long story short...I put it all back together and got it back in the car, added fluid and the shifter will not move. I thought it might be the clutch adjustment, so I messed w/ that and no luck. I ended up pulling the tranny back...

question about taurus fan and DC controller

I installed mine 5 years ago and didn't need anything other than maybe some wire.

better way to jack up the car?

I also use the pumpkin, but sure and not touch the rear cover w/ the jack. I then place jack stands under the axle on each side & lower on to the stands. Works like a charm unless you're messing w/ the axle.

E Brake Cable Snapped - will this work? *pics inside*

I decided to give it another shot. I used 2 clamps to hold the new cable to the snapped old cable. I used a bungee cord to hold the bracket tight (so the bracket was as far as it would go against the ends of the rear brake cables), and tightened the nuts as tight as I could get them. After...

    New to the 5.0 scene

Pull the codes and see if it's got any codes. I would think it would go into limp mode w/o O2 sensors. If however, it just stays in open loop as str suggests, it would be running rich. Do you smell gas?

E Brake Cable Snapped - will this work? *pics inside*

I posted this once, but maybe it didn't go through; I have posted in over a year, so maybe that's my punishment:shrug: I guess the 7 years of yanking my e-brake lever w/ all my might has finally caught up to me: My e-brake cable snapped a couple months ago. I'd rather have my e-brake...

    Battery Cable

Both of my stangs' negative battery cables bolt to the timing cover on the DRIVER side of the engine...that wasn't the original question, just trying to clear some info up.

    Battery Cable

Your negative battery cable doesn't go the starter, it bolts to the timing cover

No but seriously, whats it werfff??

you can also pay your PMI up front. It's $1250 on a $100,000 mortgage (prices are MUCH cheaper here), so I'd assume around $3700-4000 or so should take care of your PMI if you want to pay it up front. Try to negotiate the sellers into paying the closing costs for you or maybe split it or...

    Clear valve covers?

seems like cutting the top off still would splash oil all over the place...although not as much as no cover at all. I once started mine w/o the valve covers on...obviously it was a huge mess w/ oil all over everything....I wouldn't recommend it.:bang: Clear valve covers...yeah the idea...

    Whattya like better?

I wish there was a way you could get wires and cut them to fit yourself. I've been buying the ford racing wires and they're a bit too long, but oh well...$40 isn't bad, so I'll prob. just continue using those unless I find something else for about the same price that fit better.

Cammed bolt on Fox vs Cammed LT1 who wins?

According to my Corvette Black Book, the LT1's had 300 hp; LT4's in the 96 stick cars were 330 hp and the LS1's had 345 hp

Cammed bolt on Fox vs Cammed LT1 who wins?

Because he's babying it. I have a friend w/ a 94 LT1 6 speed Vette and he ran 14.6 in it on street tires, but he won't drive it hard. It's mostly stock as far as I know. I think he took the mufflers off. It's 300 flywheel hp as far as I remember. He definitely should have been in the 13's...

    the crippler....

if I remember correctly, he got big fairly quickly, so no surprise on the roids. Triple H got big in a hurry too. When I first saw Triple H (as the stuck-up Hunter Hearst Helmsley), he was decent size, but got HUGE a couple years after that. Anyway...Chris Benoit was never my favorite, but...

    just cancelled my myspace

the "select few" that view your private profile...wouldn't they already know most of that stuff about you? Say they don't, why not just e-mail? I signed up just so I could check out some of the profiles, but I don't have a profile. Nothing wrong w/ it, but I'm moving up in management and I...

Door handle broke... again!!! Hard to fix???

I'm not real sure how you could use studs on something like this. I used carriage bolts (rounded head so you can't get ahold of them from the outside) and nuts. It took me a little longer than 10 minutes and I hated doing it, but I had problems. It took me forever to drill the rivets out...
