    you need to create a sig telling the year of the car and the mods to the engine, is it carbed, etc? If it's idling at 1600 rpm, that might be part of your problem. A stock Fuel Injected 5.0 idles around 650 rpm

    is that the wire that tells the fan to shut off when the car isn't running? I didn't hook mine up. My fan usually runs for 30 sec after the car is shut off and then it goes off after the temp cools. Never any problems for me.
