    Another vote for subframe connectors. I welded Global West's under my '66 coupe and I could feel the difference before I even drove the car. Maybe it was in my head, but even the door closing seemed to give a more solid 'thunk' :)

    I use Permatex Ultra Copper on pretty much everything. Great stuff! Just be sure not to over-apply any sealant in places where it can squeeze out and get into your oiling system. A little goes a long way.

    I've looked at Mustang Depot, NPD, Mustangs Unlimited, and done some general web searches. Mustangs Unltd has a ABS model for a '67-'68 that looks pretty good, but I wasn't sure how it would fit a '66 and how it would look on the car. Isn't the front valence on a '67 a little wider?

    Couldn't say for sure. I assume that the point that I measured...the center cap on the outside of the wheel...has a greater arc of travel, and that maybe a 1" increase further inboard at the spring was magnified into a 1.5" rise from center cap to fender lip. But I'm speculating. I'm not sure...

    Finally got my 1" spring pads in and a proper alignment done. I'm sitting a little higher than I originally wanted...13" front, 14" rear, wheel center to fender lip...but I'm just gonna live with it. I think it will be fine with a future wheel/tire upgrade. The car drives pretty well now...

    I believe the 4.5 and 5 leaf mid-eyes are meant to sit at about the same level. The difference is the spring rate. Either will likely sit higher that your worn stockers. My "1 inch lowering" 4 leaf mid-eyes raised my car over an inch.

    Non body man needs help

    The inside distance between the bottom of the chrome "posts" on the front of the quarter windows is 57-1/8", if it helps. I can't get an accurate measurement of the body at that point due to the interior panels.
