    How hard to install NOS?

    The NOS kit is very easy to install. It took me and a friend 2.5-3hrs total. There is quite a bit of wiring, but other than that it's fairly simple. NOS provides very detailed instructions with good pictures and diagrams. The kit works very well and is safe with a 100 shot.

    Why not just go the quick, cheap, and easy route with nitrous. After getting outrun by an SRT-4, I bought a Dry Kit from NOS. It cost $400.00 and took about 2 hrs to install. Results...370RWHP and 470 RWTrq. I haven't been outrun since.

    The schrader valve is 1/16" NPT. You can get a 1/16" to 1/8" adapter from Jeg's, Summitt, or any shop that sells NOS stuff.

    The nitrous pull was done with stock factory tuning. I would like to see the a/f ratio a little richer up top so I will probably drop jet sizes from 59 down to 58 or 57. I would like to get a tune, but there are no Ford tuners in my area.

    With the bottle pressure at around 1100psi, I think I would have been close to 400 HP and 500 Trq, but I didn't have enough time to get the pressure up. Either way, I'm very pleased.

    SCT Flasher HELP!!!

    Clear all the DTC's and uninstall the tune from the SCT Flasher. Then drive the car around and see if the code comes up again. If it doesn't, call your tuner and let them know whats going on and they should be able to fix it. If anything though, the tune should lean the car out not make it rich.
