What Shaker Audio System Do I Have?

If you only have the subs in the doors, it is a Shaker 500. If it has sub(s) in the trunk, then it is the 1000.

What kind of oil do you use?

    Clutch Flush

I had the same question when I used my motive bleeder to clean out the old brake fluid. The shop manual doesn't even have a procedure for bleeding the clutch and I could never find a bleed screw.

    Audio Gurus inside!!! Need help!

Yeah, those are just banana plugs. That screw part you circled shouldn't be there, it should just slide right off and got unscrewed from something, lol. Oh yeah, and there should be the other speaker wire in the red post :).

    X3 tuner question???

Actually, I have almost the exact same question, I'm going form 235/50R18 to 255/45R18 and I want to do the same thing with my X3. I have the revolutions per mile number, and I THOUGHT there was a way to do this with the X3, but when I plugged it in the other night I couldn't find a way to do it.

    Caster/Camber question

I have the Maximum Motorsports CC plates, you don't need new strut mounts with them, they replace that part as part of the assembly.

    Clutch Replacement Questions

Anyone have input on whether or not it's worth it to go with a lightweight flywheel while I'm doing this? Or should I just save the money and go with the lighter driveshaft later?

    Need help with filling up.

My 07 does the same thing. I just end up trying different nozzle positions until it starts to flow again. Anyone know if we can just swap in a bigger hose running down to the tank :D?

    Clutch Replacement Questions

Hey guys, I have a 2007 GT with the Saleen Super Shaker installed and it's time for a new clutch (I know, big shocker :D). My car has 18000 miles on it and I was looking for any advice on the following: 1) recommended clutch? 2) good time to replace the flywheel? 3) Should I...

Painting a urethane bumper - Suggestions?

Yeah, adhesion promoter would go on before the primer if needed, never after. And you would only need that for bare bumper plastic. Primer will stick to primer or paint just fine if it's scuffed up some. As far as flex additive, I'd ask the paint shop. When I painted my old front bumper, the...

I still want a strut tower brace that will work with my super shaker ;)

    Autocross

I believe you can change out the rotors and still stay in ESP IF they are the same size. But I think going bigger pushes you up, but I'm not sure where to. I'm pretty sure you can change the brake lines even in the stock class (i.e. to stainless...). But I think they hit you pretty hard for...

    Autocross

Yeah, it sounds like ESP will let you replace the panhard with a Watts link, but I'm not 100%. But if you've already replaced the lower control arms..welcome to SM :). That's where I am, but that's because I added a supercharger :D. Which by the way, is a terrible route to go if you are new to...

Need tips for cutting hood for shaker system

Yeah, I did, and it sucked. I do not recommend it! :nonono: It can be done, but it's a pain.

Need tips for cutting hood for shaker system

    1. yes 2. just bolted it back up, alignment appears to be adjusted by the lower bolts on the hinges, which you do not mess with. 4. Nope, I just used painters tape as recommended in the instructions My only recommendations are... a) dremel is not all that helpful, the metal in several...

    Autocross

I'd be suprised if you could stay ESP with a Watts link. ESP pretty much only lets you replace the upper control arm and the bushing material, you can't even replace the lower control arms. I'm not so certain about the panhard though, I don't recall what the rules stated about that part of the...

    DD/Auto-X suspension options?

Also bear in mind what class you want to Auto-X in. Replacing the lower control arms kicks you into Street Modified immediately I believe. I think you can get away with caster camber plates and replacing the upper control arm and still stay in Street Prepared though. I have the FRPP Handling...

Side By Side comparison: new and old

Still glad I got my 07, I don't care for the 10 front or rear. I wish the 05-09 front end was a little bit smaller, but other than that I love it.
