    adding a irs to 05+

Maximum motorsports had an IRS setup they were working on, but they stopped when it was rumored Ford was going to release one. That was the last I heard when I pinged the MM guys a few months back. So no, there is no option right now that I'm aware of...but I want one! :D

Post Pictures of Your S197 with A Shaker Hood Set Up!

It only works with the Saleen supercharger, other than that, I love it :D. I may even still go that route, but I'm still waiting to see what happens with Saleen since they seem to be struggling some, I don't want to buy something for which support is dropped. That and I'd kind of like a TVS...

Post Pictures of Your S197 with A Shaker Hood Set Up!

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I'm trying to figure out what combo I can do and end up with a supercharger (twin screw, TVS, etc. i.e. not centrifugal) plus shaker. I liked the Saleen shaker because it looks much nicer. I don't care for the engine cover on the CDC one . Are there any...

Post Pictures of Your S197 with A Shaker Hood Set Up!

Anyone know if the snakecharger will work with any other supercharge than Saleen? Where does the plumbing line up on that thing?

Anyone tried the GT500 strut mounts on their lowered Stang?

I've got the Maximum Motorsports ones and love them, they've got a lot of camber adjustment available in them (I autocross :) ). But they are kinda pricey.

    400 hp 5.0!!

I had heard they were but I've yet to see it on their website. Anyone have a link, all I've seen is a press release that they were going to sell it?

What TIRE PRESSURE do *you* run at road course events?

With the factory tires, I run about 38-40 up front and 30 out back for autocross. The rears still need some adjustment because I'm getting some roll over, but it's close. This is with -2.5 deg camber on the front as well, so you're milage may vary :).

    69 Style Grille?

Does anyone know of a grille for our cars that is styled after the 69 mustangs, i.e. 1) Replacement grille not an overlay 2) Retains the fog lights 3) Horizontal bars Thanks! :D

    Polishing the 18" Alum.?

I'd be worried about it removing the clearcoat since 409 is a degreaser.

    Grille question

Anyone seen a version that retains the fogs near the headlights but has the horizontal bars instead of honeycomb and is NOT an overlay?

    Handling questions...

I've got the MM plates on mine, is there any good way to mark them to go back and forth between street and track (I do autocross)? Also, any recommendations on marking the toe? Or do I have to remeasure it every time I switch between street and track? :nice:

    Suspension Mod Advice

I've got the FRPP package and love it. I don't find the ride that harsh and I've had it on for about a year now. I thought the stock ride was too soft :) . But it may be because my other DD is a 94 Probe GT and it rides fairly stiff, so I probably got used to it :D

    Body roll with new tires?????

I do 40 psi on the fronts when I autocross, seems to help a lot, but I drop the rear pressure down to 28 or so. I'm still tinkering with exactly what combo works best though.

    Gauge Selection

I'm looking at getting some gauges soon and I was looking into some insight into what gauges would be most beneficial to get. I am currently NA but may go FI later (much later :) ). I will more than likely get Autometer gauges. So what gauges would you get and in what order? This is for a GT...

    Heated seats

On a related note, does anyone elses recirculate turn off after like 5-10 minutes as well? It keeps switching to outside air. I mean come on, our cars aren't that air tight, and even if I breathed heavily, it would probably take me like, what a week to sufficate? lol

Front swaybar link - tool question

That's what I used, it should be close enough, there is a torque range on the bolts and I know my torque wrench is off by a good 5%+ at times. When I did mine, I figured that I was applying my force roughly 10 inches out and the crowsfoot was adding another inch, so I figured it was adding about...

Front swaybar link - tool question

BTW, you will need 18mm, it's an odd size and can be a little hard to find. I know Craftsman sells a pack that contains 18mm, and Harbor Freight has a flare nut version that would also work in 18mm, but I had to order mine and therefore had to wait for shipping.

Front swaybar link - tool question

Crows foot on the torque wrench is how I did mine, you just have to remember to adjust the torque setting slightly to compensate for the extra length (mine was about 1 inch longer on a ~10 inch throw, so I just subtracted 10%). I think that nut calls for 85 or 86 lb-ft, I forget without looking...
