    3.73 gears & speed

    I would not let the dealer install the gears I would look for a speed shop. The dealer does not do a lot of gear swaps and a speed shop should be doing these all the time and it takes some skills to setup gears that will not wine and give you good service life.

    I agree with the numbers you are looking at you could easily do the same thing with a 302 based stoker and have room the 65-66 are a lot tighter than a 67 and above.

    The new Webelectric do not sequence the brakes light now I have a set on the Bullitt and like them very much. Good quality and easy install if you don't have the shaker 1000 and then it is not that bad.

    I rechecked and mine was under QC in the 60. My 67 is a very late unit end of Auguest with a 68 roof nuts for shoulder belts and some other 68 stuff that was coming down the line.
