One of my friends has the Xb9 with the ecu tuned and i can wax him with my gixxer 6 and he only has 5 gears which he really hates.
a friend of mine has the g-force gear set in his 87 with a 347. He loves it. He has the taller 5th gear and 410 gears his car is barely breathing at 70 mph.
did you replace the original pump shaft with a hardened unit???? If not then in the future it will probably twist like a drill bit and break....better safe then sorry
both my cars have dumps. If i wasnt such a tight wad then i would surely have tailpipes. In stock form you are probably going to lose power due to loss of backpressure. My opinion would be keep the tail pipes!!
go to smallblockposse.com talk to some people on site. Lots of folks up there that street race and can point you in the right direction as far as a reputable shop.
well i just installed the wolverine cam today and noticed that the x cam was advanced 4 degrees. I'm thinking that had alot to do with the slowness........
i had a 95gt one time the clutch cable was frayed and ended up breaking. It was really stiff for awhile and i had no idea that it was about to break. Also check to see if the cable is melted.
