    new alternator question

    Yea, I'd have to say go bigger myself. If your going to spend money on a new one alt, might as well get one that can support any future upgrades you may want- put in an amp or an electric fuel pump or somethin. Better safe than sorry for an extra $50

    Nothin fancy for the backseats. Pull the seat up then forward and it's out. Push the backrest up then forward and it's out. Can be done in 30 seconds no problem.

    Well, to put a rear bar in you need to bolt it into the underbody, and apparantly the metal you bolt into is real thin. Someone posted a few weeks ago that the strains on the bar ripped the bolts right out and left a nice hole where it used to be bolted in.

    Bad roads

    I wouldn't doubt it. A lot of the time they'll redo a road and it will either break a pipeline and have to be redone again 2 months later, or it comes out the same as before, but with the asphalt looking a little fresher. :shrug:

    If you've done front, you're in luck. I think the front took me about 3x longer than the rear did. Make sure to support the rear end in the center section and hubs, the leafs are what holds them up. I supported the driveshaft towards the rear end aswell as the weight of it made the whole...

    Depends if she wants to go fast or drive a classic. That lighter fox with HCI will be pretty quick, it's not really a decision any of us can make. But just to make the conversation interesting I'll say go with the fast fox.

    Yea, torker would definately not be too fun on the street. Performer gives better low end according to edelbrock (idle-5500) while Performer RPM gives you more power and a better curve, except you have to wait til 1500 to get it...IMO that's a pretty easy choice if you want better performance...

    I agree 620s would probably be equivalent to what you have now, try cutting coils off the 620s, that should do the trick. Or just get a bigger, heavier engine to weigh the front end down :D

    What exactly do you want to know? As far as the real early models, 8 inch rears came stock on C and most? A code stangs, the 9 inch available on the Ks I believe. I'm not exactly sure when 8.8"s made their debut, but they are stock on foxbodys. 8<8.8<9 inch in strength.

    Mine isn't too bad to start when, hot, but definately not half as fast as a cold start. If it's really tough you might want to try a starter heat shield?
