    +1 I've always heard it in reference to the tire's temperature, they're 'hot' when they've been being driven. FWIW, the factory sticker on the inside of the door of a Corvette I saw last week had the tire pressure listed and said add 4psi to the number if the tires weren't cold.

    Inspect and replace all the plugs. It honestly sounds like a bad COP to me, but I would start with the plugs first.

    Fourth gear ratio is 1.00 in the T5, T45, 3650 and T56 (as well as 3rd being 1.00 in the AOD, AODE and 4r70w) so that shouldn't make a difference.

    Ford doesn't generally have a habit of debuting new engines in the Mustang. Not saying it'll never happen, but I would expect it in something else for a few years before the Mustang.

    I've never seen any shop anywhere that wouldn't put a 275/40 on an 8" rim, including a half-dozen Discount Tires and Firestones. Tire pressure is much more important than a slightly over-sized tire. I've put close to 200K miles on different sets of 8" rims all with 245/45 up front and 275/40...

    I don't get these responses. Isn't the opposite of notchy, sloppy? Isn't that what we're eliminating by getting rid of the stock shifter? Can someone explain notchy to me?
