    Question about a K&N Air Charger kit on my Mach 1

    I had that kit on and I took it right off, it make my Car stall out after hard acceleration many times, and after it stalled on me going 140MPH I ripped the damn thing right out and put the stock intake back in, Idk wtf happened :shrug:

    I haven't been able to feel both shifters and I'm looking for a short throw (Can't stand the 2nd to 3rd shift). I only got the feel the Pro 5.0 shifter, what are some of your opinions on the Steeda Tri-Axe?

    I believe it's somewhere in the 25-30 above stage 1, i'm not 100% sure but I think thats about right. I know that stage 2 heads and cams yeild a similar amount of power as compared to a 01 Cobra/Mach 1

    how much hp would full bassani exhaust add?

    Theres no possible way 20rwhp will drop 1 sec off an E/T. Bassani makes Mid length headers, they fall right between shorties and long tube headers in length. I would estimate a 15-25rwhp gain with that setup.

    Thats tough, a stock 98GT 5spd runns about 15.1 in the 1/4, not sure about the auto... To get into the 13's you would need roughly 280HP with 4.10 gears, and suspension work. My suggestion would be to save up for a S/C or Heads and Cams...That could possibly be your only way

    Check engine light on after a few days with o/r H pipe. Do I need mil eliminators?

    That damn light likes to come on way to often :nonono: , Don't bother with MIL eliminators if your gonna have them turned off through the computer....It's fine to drive around like that.........My Light came on today for cleaning my damn K&N air filter!!!!!

    Do Your Cars Burn Oil?

    Have you been measuring the oil level before it has time to all settle back into the pan, sometimes waiting a few min allows all the oil to collect at the bottom of the pan thus yielding a higher oil level on the dipstick.

    In my opinion I would go with the TT. The TT makes a broader powerband and more low end power as compared to the S/C. However, if your going for a showoff/display factor.... there's no beating that s/c whine :banana:

    In all honesty, the GTO is a very impressive machine, good specs and consistant performance for the money....but who the hell wants to drive something that resembles a trashbag on 4 wheels, the car just looks absolutly terrible in my opinion.

    Everything Chevy makes just sounds like utter crap, I couldn't stand listening to that crappy sounding 5.7 all day, chevy will never make a car that sounds as good as the 4.6, and in my opinion I believe that adds alot to the joy factor of driving these cars everyday.
