    I totally agree. I drive a sweet '94 Beretta in the winter & whenever it rains in the summer. I picked it up for $850 from a local car auction & it has ran beautifully since I bought it last year. You might want to see what the local car auctions offer in your area.

    I was just wondering if any harm is done by shifting through first & second manually on my automatic can cause any long term harm. I like to stay in second especially a little longer than the car does, so I frequently shift it myself. Any possibility on transmission damage?

    Yeah, no s*#$! I have a similar setup (9" front, 10.5" back) and let me tell you what my winter tires are: a '94 Beretta that I paid about $850 for. I figure I could wrap that thing around a snow covered telephone pole, take the tags off, and walk away. Sweet. :nice:

    Really? Well, the only parts that felt rough under the clay were the hood & the top of the truck, so the rest of the truck wasn't too bad, plus I didn't have any wax buildup. I guess in hindsight 3 hours isn't so bad but it is pretty boring :)

    I have FRPP 4.10 & they are awesome. A friend of mine who is a retired Ford master mechanic installed them in just a few hours. He said they are by far the easiest due to the reasons the others here have stated.
