Ate a Boxter S for lunch

Old Boxters are slow, but watch out for the new ones. 280hp light car, plus all the weight sitting in the ass..They are pretty quick off the line. To provoke a Porsche for a race is an achievement. Cause all their drivers are old farts.

Long tube headers on 03 gt vert

It can be done, just prepare to spend lots of $$$. Problem is with stock K member it's so tight there. There are 2 ways to do that either raise the engine or drop the K member. Either way you looking at 5-8 hr job, depending on your mechanic. I was quoted $500 just for install.

Need help- my car is BOGGING, here is my dyno

Thanks, I'll ckeck it out. But I don't think this is detonation : I live in colorado, 5000ft of altitude (25% less atmospheric pressure than at sea level) and fuel octane requirement can be reduced by 1 octane for every 1000ft. So technically I could put 86 octane fuel and still be ok...

    Cobra Questions

I can't understand why 96-98 cobras would be heavier than 99-01. Both got aluminum engines, same frame, interior. Plus a solid axle always lighter than independent.

look at my dynos, need help please!

Smoothing was set at zero on both graphs. But that's no excuse. The guy who is running the shop couldn't explain it either. He said he never changes smoothiness level, leaves always at "0". He showed me other cars' dynos and they all looked good, not like mine. At first he thought my engine was...

    03 Cobra / 00 WS6 / 97 C5 review

I really don't see the point owning 4 similar cars. For that money I would buy a Viper or 911 turbo. If I had that much money I would get the most of it.
