    mac pro dumps on a 98?

    thinking about getting some pro dumps for my 98..i have stock headers,o/r h pipe.anyone else have this setup on a 98? if so how do you like it?

    Removal of stock H-pipe...yikes!!!

    just did mine on my 98gt went with a mac o/r h pipe. PITA it was now i have the clunk from the hangers holding the pipe up to high it is hitting on the drivers side cross member need to try and pry it down and stretch the hanger!!!!

    before doing burnout put car in reverse back up a little then put in drive or 1st gear whichever put foot on brake give gas there you go two wheels will spin.our cars dont have posi rears we have limited slip dif....now if you want them both to spin you need to install a posi rear!!!!!!

    i got my tunes done at Performance Evolution they are in middletown delaware on rt 301...he did a great job on my 98!!!!

    you will not see the changes that were made.the adjustments you see are you tweeking the tune that was loaded in the programer..why did he change your gears that should have been done with the tune you got...to put it back to the original tune it will ask you if you want to save adjusted...

    Fixed 2-3k rpm rattle

    hey muscle 99 do you have the sound at full load? i just had a mac o/r h pipe installed and it just clears the k member and under heavy load it hits the k member making a bad rattle noise..the only fix is sub frame's or to take a pry bar and stretch the rubber hanger...

    :nice: go get your car tuned.you cant just throw parts on the car and expecpt it to work like it did stock!!!!..get rid of the home made mills...and get your car tuned by somebody that knows what their doing!!!:D

    i just got a tune for my 98gt and boy did it wake it up...it is like night and day...it feels like it just wants to pull and pull...very happy with the tune i got...:nice: :nice:

    Mac H-Pipe: Awesome

    i just got the o/r h pipe installed today and i left my stock mufflers on and she sounds nice...got that and a tune really woke my car up!!!!!!:D
