    New 'celebrity' signature poll

Another one for Roush. Would compliment the Saleen well. I wonder what he'll say when he sees that you want him to sign a glovebox door with that OTHER mustang guy's sig already on it. :D

    Losing cooling fluid!

Hmm...I don't know about that at high speeds...flex fans flatten out at higher rpms because it's not really needed...there should be plenty of air going through your radiator. It's the same on a lot of cars with electric fans, they shut off at higher speeds. Maybe you just need a bigger rad...

    Clearance Issues

Don't go for sure on this, but I'm fairly sure an air-gap will not fit a 351 under a stock hood. It's DAMN close on my 302.

    Mustang Depot Kit

Huh, I thought Grab-A-Trak was a mustang's plus brand. Well in that case, I ordered pretty much that exact kit. I love it, I have muchh more control over the car now, and having the body roll went from a twice a minute thing to something very difficult to pull off upon even fairly aggressive...

    New Mustang 66.

2 S/C on top of each other like that...does that even work? Does it really do anything?

New here with a few questions

As it says, just the intake gasket, no biggie. As far as parts go, either www.jegs.com OR www.summitracing.com will suit your needs with the lowest price available. Tires shouldn't be too expensive at all...rims are another story.

New here with a few questions

Sounds exactly like me when I first bought my car. Welcome to Stangnet. For the intake I'd go with either the Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap or the Holley Weiand Stealth. Both are nice dual-planes that will give you good throttle response and power til about 6k. Headers are definately a...

    Kick Panel Speakers

PCH made some real nice ones. I was thinkin about following his idea, but opted to just go basic instead. http://www.jr.stangnet.com/kick.htm#top They do make spacers for the kickpanels...that's how I fit mine in the pre-made speaker panels. Not the best pic sorry, it's the piece of...

    Exhaust kit recommendations?f

Damn man, my local shop did my entire system installed, including alllll parts (2.5" pipes, 2 40 flows, 1' chrome tailpipes) from the headers back for $400. And that's in the bay area...check around different shops...

    ANYONE TRIED EDELBROCK AIRGAP

While some argue that there isnt' much difference between the two, dyno tests continue to prove that the Air-Gap does make more power. I have one on my 302 and love it. It does fit under a stock hood.

Do I need an air comp. to change out valvesprings

Hmm all good ideas...I found an air compressor one of my dad's friends owns, so that is no longer an issue. I tried searching around with no avail, maybe someone can educate me...the block is a 68 and I'm fairly sure the heads are as well. Are 68s push or screw in, or does it depend on the...

    Alternator Upgrade ?

a 100 amp should be noo problem. The expensive driving lights and stereo systems are what really draw serious power. The ease of the installation will surprise you, It can be a 5-10 min job no problem. You will need thick wire, prolly a 4-gauge...or is it 2... (mine is about same diameter...

    Alternator Upgrade ?

What accessories do you have in the car? I have a pretty draining system and the 100amp is workin fine for me so far, no dimming/brightening of the lights at different speeds, etc. I had three wires coming off my old alt that went into a little harness and just plugged out where two adapters...

Dry Crack or Squeek? Front Suspension!

Same thing happened to me with the spring compressor, I've driven it everyday for the last three months and have had no issues with the UCA. Just that damn squeaky bar.

Do I need an air comp. to change out valvesprings

True, on the budget thing, I meant more in the sense as I didn't have money to have my mechanic do them, which I'm sure would be another $200 as everything always takes more time than suspected. I have plenty to rent a compressor for a day or two if it's really necessary. I'm wanting to change...

post pics of your 65-66 tailpipes!

I was thinkin stickin out further so you could actually see em...they're pretty hidden back there. A tip with a "thicker lip" would prolly do the same job, or maybe a straight cut.
