    1.95 gear set in a 8.8 - never heard of that ratio. Even if you did put a cam in a stock motor (bad idea) you'll need 3.55 gears or lower. The FRPP "letter" cams are the most outdated hydraulic roller cams available for the 5.0 - there's a lot better options available with split durations.

    My Explorer lower is ported and the upper is opened to 70mm. However I'm still running a stock T/B. In the future I would also like to upgrade to roller rockers and a e-fan just to squeeze the most out of this combo.

Comp springs, locks, retainers, seals, guides, valve job, magna-fluxed, and the heads bead blasted and then milled for straightness cost me $500.     I used cut SN95 brackets and mounted on the inboard of the axle bracket. I had to do some very small grinding on welds from the factory where the bracket was welded to the axle tube.

    My car has the hatch release (actuator) box missing on the hatch latch. I'd like to find one and have the release working. Stopped by the Ford dealer and couldn't find the part. There's some on ebay, but on the expensive side. Were these known to be junk and is it worth tracking one down...

    So for instance, would buying a new catted BBK mid pipe feature 3-way converters? I'd love to get rid of my stinky exhaust, but with P heads I can't use a smog pump.

    I did mine about four years ago, so it's been awhile. I remember lots of PB Blaster and heat. Then I borrowed a tool from Autozone for removing broken bolt studs. I can't remember exactly how it worked, but it did the trick.
