    I was told by CJPONYPARTS and from most research that I've found that when switching to a AOD transmission from a C4 a 50oz flexplate is needed. Is that incorrect information? Can anyone clarify?

    Thanks for the replies. I see a lot of threads on this topic, but none of them ever finish or post results. I'm just waiting to hear back on backspace size for the 7" rim. If they have what I need, then it is a go and I will order the 7" and 9.5" tonight. Along with my 275/40 and 235/40 tires.

    On top of the painting... You could get some wire looms or zip tie if your on the cheap. A good de-greaser, and a pressure wash will do a lot too. Change out your oversprayed hoses, new air cleaner.. Those items will get you on your way. Here's a little inspiration for you, sorry no pics in...

    The FMX I had in there, was pretty well beat. I guess I know need to start my search for the "perfect" c4. I do understand that the FMX is stronger, but My car isn't going to be having any crazy amounts of HP - don't get me wrong, I'll have some, just not tons. Enough for a C4 to handle.
