    fuel smell issue

    The o\r h-pipe has a lot to do with the smell. I recently put a high flow catted pipe on in place of my o\r h-pipe to get my car inspected and my '93 octane cologne went away! :D You should also check the hoses leading from the vapor canister to make sure they're not cracked or vulcanized. Tim

    The lower intake bolts are the same, two of the upper intake bolts are the same, but the other 4 upper bolts are different. You'll need to get 2 5\16"-18 x 6.05 and 2 5\16"-18 x 6.85 bolts. I bought the GT40 bolt kit from ford racing and it had all of the upper bolts except for the 6.85"...

    Well i disagree as I run the 93 cobra intake on my '95 GT and it will not fit under the stock hood with a 3\8" spacer as it TB PCV tube rubs on the inside of the hood slight with no spacer. the 94\95 Cobra intake is shorter than the 93 cobra intake and he's got a 93. Tim

    Why would you unbolt the TB to pull the upper intake? Just unbolt the upper intake's 6 5\16" bolts, and the 2 10mm bolts for the TB cable bracket the vacuum lines, and 1 snake clamp on the stock inlet or CAI and your'e good to go. Tim

    Cobra intakes are known for increased oil in the PCV (two vacuum connections as opposed to one???) which is why it's important to check for the baffle on the underside. And Vristang is right about the breathers...so summary baffles yeah, breather caps boo! hehehe Tim

    You got it. The catalytic converters need a catalyst to fully break down the unburned hydrocarbons, and this catalyst is the air from the smog pump. If he hooks the smog pump up to the cats he has a much better chance of passing. Tim
