Deleting PCV? Should I do it?

I run a breather on my valve cover but I still have my PCV hooked up. I think the PCV valve has something to do with the oil I found in intake manifold so I figured I would delete it. Cant I just keep the breather on the valve cover and put another breather on hte back of the lower intake? That would work the same right?
 
Whatever you choose, running a breather and PCV is kinda of a mixed bag of poo. I would go one way or the other. Simply stated, the breather set up will not actively scavenge vapors from the crankcase like PCV does. On a forced induction set-up, things change. Often times, a light-bar set up can get away with a forced induction PCV valve. Or guys just run all breathers and delete the PCV.

Is the PCV really necessary? Not especially (though few alternatives are as efficient). But you do need to ensure you have adequate bi-directional ventillation of some sort.

No filtered breathers alone are not enough as you are equalizing the pressure between the crankcase but you're not evacuating the crankcase of the corrosive vapors like the PCV system does. The stock PCV system when properly maintained is a good piece of engineering and costs you zero performance and extends engine life. Just keep it and drive on. :SNSign:

what i did was sorta wierd, but it works. Since i used my origional PCV location as my oil dump for my turbos, i ran the pcv hose from the upper intake, through a brake booster check valve to the pass. valve cover where the nipple is on the fill neck. Then i put a breather on the oil fill cap. its crazy, but it works damn good.
