    Sorry about that....they're both stickshift cars. Mine's got a new centerforce dual friction clutch. His whole car is pretty much cherry. The car's got like 9,000 miles on it, but he definately knows how to drive it!

    What should I expect against a stock 98 Cobra convertible. The only mod he has is Roush side pipes. The rest is bone stock. My mods are in my sig. Give me some opinions. My friend's dad has wanted to race me for like a year now. I'm finally going to be back in my hometown to do it!!!

    ok maybe I don't NEED to change the voltage, but it's free as opposed to buying whatever a MIL is. Which is the better way to go though? I've got all the mechanical/electrical skill I need to do this, I just want to know the sure-fire way to fix this.

    Help with Hanging RPMS

    I have the same problem with the hanging RPMs. When I put the cam in my car it wouldn't idle at all so I cranked up the IAC and it idled fine but the RPMs wouldn't go down very fast. Kinda off topic, but if I do set the IAC back to it's stock position, can I drill a small hole in the butterfly...

    4-channel amp recommendations

    JL Audio all the way. I've had Audiobahn, MTX, Rockford, and Phoenix Gold amps, and the best sound quality for the money is definately JL. If you got the $$$$ for the Phoenix Gold that is by far your highest quality amp......but you're gonna pay for it. Good luck :nice:

    Timing

    Just got the stang out of the garage after a long winter, trying to time the car with an E-303 cam. Having a hard time because of the choppy idle, any suggestions?

    All I know is that changing the cam timing will shift the engine's powerband to different rpm ranges based on where you move it to. Sorry I can't help more.
