Yeah I tuned Fudge's car. It's pretty awesome isn't it? I like the track down there, but I have been having some difficulty scheduling a weekend to come. I seem to end up running dyno days on the weekends that I should be in Medicine Hat. Bud Park in Edmonton is a really nice track too, and...
Frankly, I think the Medicine Hat track beats the hell out of Calgary. I ran an 11.99 @ 115 there last year with my NA 351W coupe, and that was with a T5 and stock rear end except 3.73 gears. Elevation there is only about 2200 feet, which is about 1300 feet lower than Race City. Maybe the 13.1...
If you are talking about Calgary, later in the night the weather was pretty good with the barometer at 26.45. I ran a best ever 12.08 at 111 that night with my NA 351W

Try Rodway in Edmonton, or call Western Motorsports in Calgary. I know that WMS has at least 3 brand new 5.0's, which are among the very last ones made.

Platinum, I'll tell you some of the stuff that will work for you as far as bolt ons are concerned:
- inlet elbow and throttle body (75mm)
- Pullies (get the SFI ones)
- cams
- gears. At least 3.73, 4.10 would be better
These are all reasonably easy bolt ons, with the possible...
SIR's web site doesn't give any details, that's why I'm asking here. Also, if I read the web site correctly, there is no friday night racing on the August 6 weekend. Do they only race every other friday night there or something?
-Matthew
I see in the SIR program there is a "Fastest Street Car Shootout" scheduled for August 6. Some of us from Calgary are thinking of coming out there at least one weekend this summer to see what SIR is like and enjoy the low elevation, and this looked like it might be a good weekend. My question...
You need a new clutch disk and either a new driveshaft or a new yoke for your old driveshaft because the spline count is different on both the input and output shafts.

Your EGR valve is probably gummed up. Take it off and use carb cleaner on it to free it up. Make sure it moves freely.
Secondly, I agree with the comment about replacing the thermostat. Put in a 195 thermostat.
As far as your emissions test goes, changing your oil can help. Also make sure...
Ford designed the 5.0 to run around 195-200 degrees, and that is where they really run best. I run a 195 thermostat in my 351W with a 3 row rad and an electric fan and it runs and stays around this set temperature.
If you run the car below 180 degrees with EEC-IV, you will be in perpetual...
I have a stock T5 in my '90 coupe. It makes 372 HP to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno which is about 422 HP on a dynojet. I've run the car hard at the track in several combinations including two years with this combination and the transmission has held up fine. The T5 is stock except for a steel...
I've dyno tested an electric fan vs. the stock clutch type fan on my '90 coupe. The car has underdrive pullies and showed a 5 HP gain at the tires on a Mustang dyno with the electric fan. This is a little less than 7 HP at the flywheel.
If you don't have subframes, get them. If you do, get...
Typo - I meant '93 or older, not '93 or newer - sorry!
The bottom line is, by now pretty well all of the stock rubber style mounts in fox3 cars are junk. If miles haven't wrecked them, time has.
