    GT40P's stock have 1.84/1.46 valves and 59cc chambers. They do flow a little better than GT40's and yes they are smog legal as they were used on some explorers.     I believe the seal is inside of the bearing retainer. Did it start to leak right after you replaced the seal?

    I would say that your tranny is leaking. Tranny fluid is usually red. If its only leaking when under load my guess is that the gears are splashing the fluid around the making it come out through a worn input shaft oil seal.
