    O.K. sorry for some reason I thought that you did the swapp.So when you cut up the bracket did you have to remove the exhaust hanger?I've read that a lot of people go without the hanger for the midpipe.I was gonna go that route but just dont feel safe with out the x-pipe secured.

    Swapp is easy.Hardest part is putting in the pedals.The whole thing will go well if you have a good set of tools and some time.Dont try and bang it out in one day.

    I put my own together and it cost way more then the prices that you guy's posted.If you can find the tranny harness for $25 post it up here I gotta see it.Your prolly lookin somewhere between $1500 to $2000 for a complete kit with used parts.Clutch & brake pedals come together as one unit.

    So is there a difference between two as far as performance?Or its just the pressure plate that matters?

    You lost me...If I dont use the plate then I wont have a way to mount the x-pipe because the x-haust hanger will be gone.The t-5 plate must be different.The one I have only has two bolt holes on it compared to the ones that have four like the ones pictured in that corral thread.

    If I dont use the stock exhaust hanger plate then what can I use? I'll be indexing the bellhousing when I put everything back together. Pretty sure the crossmember should slope towards the rear of the car.There is two little holes on it that should be on the pass. side of the car.

    I'm starting to think that the trans mounting plate is different from a aode(the one I used) to the t-5 one.Prolly why mine fit with the exhaust hangar.I got a new mount from prothane back in july when I put it in. Whitedevil..Did you have to grind off the mounting plate for the camaro on your TKO?

    The main reason I'm taking it out is because the clutch was slipping.The x-member was in backwards which is a big no-no:nono: .The member has a slope towards the back of the car which I guess helps everything line up to the diff.Check out the pics of my cooked flywheel & press plate.
