    Not all CAI's are created equal.......it really depends on your application......if you are just looking for 1 or 2 bolt ons then ay intake is an improvement over stock........I use the AFM N/A Power Pipe and have amazing results!     There is alot of variables to check at this point...are your heads ported and are you running a cam.........sounds like timing is the key point here........without race fuel in a 12.1 compression motor you are going to have to bump the timing way up!     YES! When you drastically change the airway in an MAF system it needs calibrating....you could be running lean.......or pig rich.........I have a friend with the typhoon and his car runs good after a custom tune.....I also run the HPS Hardball R intake and it also needed a tune..... "ED"

    Comparing track times

    With all those mods and MT's DR's 275R17's you will be in the 13's! I am running .6 to .7 tenths faster just in my 60 ft! Are cars are no topend monsters but have great low end tq and midrange power.....with a good tire set at 17psi......you will be throughly impressed! "ED"
